1.) He was born in 1929, and yet looks like Michael Fassbender. No, this is not natural.
2.) He was experimented on in the Nazi death camps by Mr. Sinister in an alias. His mutant powers have arguably been augmented and his lifespan is far longer than natural. He doesn't know this in detail, just that he was experimented on by some Nazi.
3.) He controls electomagnetism, not just magnetism. This tends to startle enemies when they think they've got an upper hand because there isn't much metal around and then he just zaps them with electricity. Probably one of the most powerful living beings on Earth.
4.) Born Max Eisenhardt. Erik Lehnsherr is an alias he's used for a few decades.
5.) Has a weakness for beautiful women. Often has trouble being faithful in relationships. This particular Magneto is straight. There was a time when Charles was fairly sad about that ...
6.) Speaks German, Polish, Hebrew, Russian, Hungarian and English.
7.) Mutant powers help give him freakish insight into electromagnetism, electrical engineering and metallurgy. Invented adamantium. He's not happy about what Weapon X did with it, even if it makes fighting the X-Men a touch more convenient.
8.) Worked closely with Charles Xavier in the past, helping to establish the school with him, as well as building Cerebro and the Danger Room. Then turned against him. Fought some teenage X-Men. Kind of ... let them win, because he didn't want to kill them. Got locked up in the Vault. But he's escaped now.
9.) Secretly motivated by an ambition to rule almost as much as a desire to help the mutant population of the world. He's charismatic and he knows it, and secretly kind of revels in it.
10.) Loath to kill civilians. Often restrains some of the more bloodthirsty of his followers.
11.) Has previous experience with the Israeli security services as well as private Nazi hunters.
12.) Stole a giant cache of Nazi gold from some Nazis. Uses it to fund Brotherhood activities.
13.) Has never met Sebastian Shaw in his life. Probably wouldn't like him much if he did, though.
14.) Has most recently arranged for the violent conquest of Genosha, along with the Brotherhood of Mutants.
15.) Totally, totally with Mystique, the lucky bastard. This Raven doesn't have a familial history with Charles. That would be weird for him.
